Our Father, Who
art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is
in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against
us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the
fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and
at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the
Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall
be, world without end.
Amen.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of
heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son,
our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born
of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried. He descended
into hell; the third day He rose again from the
dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the
right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence
He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I
believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic
Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of
sins, the resurrection of the body, and life
everlasting.
Amen.
O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended
you. I detest all my sins because of your just
punishment, but most of all because they offend you,
my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my
love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace,
to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of
sin.
Amen.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, with all its love, all its sufferings and all
its merits.
To expiate all the sins I have committed this day
and during all my life. Gloria Patri.
To purify the good I have done poorly this day and
during all my life. Gloria Patri.
To supply for the good I ought to have done, and
that I have neglected this day and all my life.
Gloria Patri.
Guardian Angel
Angel of God, my guardian
dear,
to whom God's love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.
Hail Holy Queen
Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and
our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of
Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of
mercy towards us;
and after this our exile, show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Amen.
Radiating Christ
Dear Jesus, help us to spread your fragrance
everywhere we go.
Flood our souls with your spirit and life.
Penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly
that our lives may only be a radiance of yours.
Shine through us, and be so in us, that every
soul we come in contact with may feel your
presence in our soul.
Let them look up and see no longer us but only
Jesus!
Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine
as you shine; so to shine as to be a light to
others; the light O Jesus,
will be all from you, none of it will be ours;
it will be you, shining on others through us.
Let us thus praise you in the way you love best
by shining on those around us.
Let us preach you without preaching, not by
words but by our example, by the catching force,
the
sympathetic influence of what we do.
The evident fullness of the love our hearts bear
to you.
Amen.
Behold, O Kind and most sweet
Jesus, before Thy face I humbly kneel, and with
the most fervent desire of soul,
I pray and beseech Thee to impress upon my heart
lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity,
true contrition for my sins and a firm purpose
of amendment. With deep affection and grief of
soul, I ponder within myself, mentally
contemplating Thy five wounds, having before my
eyes the words which David the Prophet spoke
concerning Thee: "They have pierced my hands and
my feet, they have numbered all my bones."
Amen.
Prayer of St.
Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of
Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.
Prayer of St.
MichaelSaint Michael
the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our
protection against the wickedness and snares of the
devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Prince
of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust
into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander
through the world for ruin of souls.
Amen.
Surrender Prayer (Suscipe by St. Ignatius Loyola )Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding and my will.
All that I have and cherish You have given me: I surrender it all to You to be guided by Your will.
Your love and Your grace are wealth enough for me,
Give me these, Lord Jesus, and I ask for nothing more.
Amen. |
