Adoration Prayer
My Lord Jesus Christ,
I believe that You are really here in this Sacrament.
Night and day You remain here compassionate and loving.
You call, You wait for, You welcome everyone who comes to visit You.
I thank You, Jesus my Divine Redeemer for coming upon the earth for our sake
and for instituting the Adorable Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist in order to remain with us until the end of the world.
I thank You for hiding beneath the Eucharistic species
Your infinite majesty and beauty, which Your Angels delight to behold,
so that I might have courage to approach the throne of Your mercy.
I thank You dear Jesus, for having become the priceless Victim, to merit for me the fullness of heavenly favors.
Awaken in me such confidence in You that their fullness may descend ever more fruitfully upon my soul.
I thank You for offering Yourself in thanksgiving to God for all His benefits,
spiritual and temporal which He has bestowed on me.
Grant me grace and perseverance in your faithful service.
Amen.
O Lord Jesus, sweetest Guest, may Thou have come happily
to me, Thy poor and humble servant.
May Thou have entered in blessing under this mean and
lowly roof.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, in the highest, for that Thou
hast come into my heart, Thou Day-spring from on high.
O King of peace, drive from my heart all vain and idle
thoughts, that my soul may imitate and love Thee only,
the Author of peace.
For what beside Thee, O Thou peace, Thou calm and
sweetness of my heart, should my soul seek for or
desire?
Amen.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts,
all the earth is full of Thy glory.
O Sacrament most Holy!
O Sacrament divine!
Be every moment Thine!
Act of Consecration to the Holy Spirit
On my knees before the great
multitude of heavenly witnesses,
I offer myself soul and body to Thee, Eternal
Spirit of God.
I adore the brightness of Thy purity, the
unerring keenness of Thy justice, and the might
of Thy love.
Thou art the Strength and Light of my soul.
In Thee I live and move and am.
I desire never to grieve Thee by unfaithfulness
to grace,
and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the
smallest sin against Thee.
Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that
I may always watch for Thy light
and listen to Thy voice and follow Thy gracious
inspirations.
I cling to Thee and give myself to Thee and ask
Thee by Thy compassion to watch over me in my
weakness.
Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at
His Five Wounds
and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring
His opened Side and stricken Heart,
I implore Thee Adorable Spirit, helper of my
infirmity,
so to keep me in Thy grace that I may never sin
against Thee.
Give me grace O Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Father
and the Son,
to say to Thee always and everywhere, "Speak
Lord, for Thy servant heareth."
Amen.

Evening Praise
All praise to You, O God, this
night
For all the blessings of the light;
Keep us, we pray, O King of kings,
Beneath Your own almighty wings.
Forgive us, Lord, through Christ your Son,
Whatever wrong this day we've done;
Your peace give to the world, O Lord,
That we might live in one accord.
Enlighten us, O blessed Light,
and give us rest throughout this night.
O strengthen us, that for Your sake,
We all may serve You when we wake.
Amen.
Glory to God in the highest. And on earth peace to men
of good will. We praise You. We bless You. We adore you.
We glorify You. We give You thanks for Your great glory.
O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father almighty. O
Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-begotten Son. O Lord God,
Lamb of God, Son of the Father: you Who take away the
sins of the world, have mercy on us. You Who take away
the sins of the world, receive our prayer. You Who sit
at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For
you alone are holy. You alone are the Lord. You alone, O
Jesus Christ, are most high. Together with the Holy
Spirit in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most
mysterious and unutterable Name of God be always
praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven
on earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of
God, and by the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ in
the most Holy Sacrament of the altar.
Amen.
Morning Offering
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new day.
Thank You for the sleep which has refreshed me and for
the chance to begin life again today.
I welcome this new day as Your gift to me, and in its
first moments,
I offer myself to you.
Father, I will quietly and serenely receive from Your
hand the work and burden of this day:
its joys, its sorrows, its challenges, its
responsibilities and its opportunities.
Bless this day for me, for those I love, and for all
Your children.
To us all, grant your provisions for our needs today and
the grace to see this day in the light of eternity.
Amen.
God of Love, I thank You for the
people in my life who are easy to love.
I thank You for my family and friends who understand
my actions, who support me in my decisions, and
whose presence can lift the burden of a thorny day.
Help me with those who are difficult to love.
When they come at me with criticism and wild
expectations,
when they ignore me or try to bend me to their will,
let me recognize their flaws and their dangers.
But then let me remember your attitude toward them,
and lead me to see them in the light of Your love.
Amen.
For all You have given,
Thank You God.
For all You have withheld,
Thank You God.
For all You have withdrawn,
Thank You God.
For all You have permitted,
Thank You God.
For all You have prevented,
Thank You God.
For all You have forgiven me,
Thank You God.
For all You have prepared for me,
Thank You God.
For the death You have chosen for me,
Thank you God.
For the place you are keeping for me in heaven,
Thank You God.
For having created me to love You for eternity,
Thank You God. |
